About Me

How is one ever able to describe themselves?

The basics:  I grew up in the "countryside" of Wisconsin, USA.  I am the second of four children (2 boys, 2 girls).  I began traveling my Junior year of high school and continued on with a semester in New Zealand my sophomore year of University.  The most important thing in my life is my FAITH and RELATIONSHIP with God.  As all lives go, it has been a constant UP AND DOWN ROLLER COASTER.  BUT- I am enjoying it as much as I can and consistently looking at ways to improve and adventure on!

I am a teacher by nature and profession.  I've taught in South Korea for 4 years.  I'm hoping to continue teaching in foreign lands and am on the look out for more opportunities to teach and live in other cultures.  Wanderlust at heart, nomad by choice.  Emended Gypsy at heart. (What does that mean?)

In the Meyers/Briggs Personality Profile I am an ENFP.  If you want to read extensively what that means and what I believe is a rather good description of "me" you can go HERE.

But if you don't have the time, here is a partial excerpt:

ENFPs have an unusually broad range of skills and talents. They are good at most things which interest them. Project-oriented, they may go through several different careers during their lifetime. To onlookers, the ENFP may seem directionless and without purpose, but ENFPs are actually quite consistent, in that they have a strong sense of values which they live with throughout their lives.

Because ENFPs live in the world of exciting possibilities, the details of everyday life are seen as trivial drudgery. They place no importance on detailed, maintenance-type tasks, and will frequently remain oblivous to these types of concerns. When they do have to perform these tasks, they do not enjoy themselves. This is a challenging area of life for most ENFPs, and can be frustrating for ENFP's family members.

From here we journey on!  Read the posts, watch some videos, look at photos… I'm sure you'll get an idea of a little more of what makes ME.
